Week 6

Due to the lockdown, once again, we had to take all the courses online. Although there are still significant disadvantages and inconveniences, we are used to this learning mode.

However, this requires us to reconsider the initial project idea- the ocean of plastic waste. Could the idea of plastic be continued if we can't meet as a whole group in person? So we had a group meeting on discord after class. Some members put forward some new ideas about using household items, but we decided to continue to use the plastic one.

There are several reasons. First, we have spent a lot of time and thoughts completing Project Brief 1.0 and don't want to give it up. Second, the topic of plastic pollution of the ocean is very meaningful and worthy of development. In addition, everyone has plastic products in the house, which would become the basis of our project.

I hope our project can be carried out smoothly and presented perfectly even if it may be completed at home possibly. Although I don't know how long the epidemic will last and how long we will maintain this state, I firmly believe that there will always be a day when we can freely embrace each other.
